SOURCE: Water leaks from tube at the bottom of fridge for water dispenser only

If it is a plastic compression fitting you can tighten each one a little(careful not to tighten them too much cause they can strip out) Use a small crescent wrench with a back up wrench.

SOURCE: LG refrigerator won't dispense water any more

The water line is freezing in the door due to deteriorated insulation. The only fix I have found to work on my fridge was to defrost the inside door with a blow dryer. Then place a weedeater replacement line (the orange 10" or so size you find at Lowes' or Home Depot) up through the dispenser nozzle, If the line only travels about 3-4 inches up the nozzle, then ice is still in the tube. Blow dry it until you are able to get water to dispense. After the tube is ice-free, place the weedeater line up throuth the dispenser nozzle leaving about 1/8" sticking out. The dispenser will still work with the line stuck in it. The dispenser will probably freeze again in about 8 hours, But all you need to do each time this happens is to pull the weedeater line out, dispense the water to unclog the ice, and place the weedeater line back in the nozzle. I have been using this method for about a week now and it works great. My GE Side-by-side is also 4 years old and this seems to be a problem with all of them. There is a part you can order to fix the problem, but I have heard it may not work.

SOURCE: GE Profile Refrigerator Ice/Water dispenser not working

Had the same problem. Pressed button heard a click, saw zeroes flash, then nothing. After some online search I found and solved the problem. Corrosion and condensation on the connector plug attached to the wire at the bottom of the freezer door. Remove plastic grill, pull out wire from under box. You'll find a plastic connector and possibly wet or corroded wiring. CUT POWER TO FRIDGE OFF FIRST. I cut away the white plastic connector then stripped and tied the wires together with wire caps. Taped them up too. Note which wire goes to which first. Mine was blue to blue, black to black, and red to white. Problem solved.

I have LG refrigerator LSC27950, there is ice in the icemaker& when I press the lever I hear humming noise for water and clicking noise for ice, but no ice or water are dispensing?

The error code dH on your LG refrigerator is indicating a water supply problem. This could be caused by a few different issues:
  1. Clogged or frozen water line: The water line supplying the icemaker and water dispenser may be clogged or frozen. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Check the water line and make sure that it is not clogged or frozen.
  2. Water inlet valve: The water inlet valve that supplies water to the ice maker and dispenser may be faulty or clogged. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. You can check the water inlet valve and make sure it is functioning properly or if it is clogged.
  3. Water filter: A clogged water filter can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. If your refrigerator has a water filter, make sure that it is not clogged and has been replaced recently.
  4. Water pressure: If the water pressure is too low, it can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Make sure that the water pressure in your refrigerator is adequate.
You should first try to check the water line, water inlet valve, water filter, and water pressure. If none of these solutions work, please contact a professional technician or LG customer service to diagnose and fix the problem.

I have a LG LFX31935st and the ice maker will not dispense ice. It makes it, just wont dispense. Also, water seems to be leaking into one of the Produce/Meat drawers inside the fridge.

Possibly a clogged piece of ice from water leakage preventing the dispensing of ice. If you haven't tried taking the ice bucket out and rinsing it under hot water to get all the frozen ice out, you should.

Lowering the water pressure to the fridge by turning the knob on the connection at the wall should help prevent the excess water and clogging going forward. There is a very small change between almost off and just on, where the water will still dispense from the front of the fridge but you can tell that the pressure is less, that should give the desired results. It may take some trial and error by testing the water flow from the door while adjusting the valve at the wall.

The water pressure adjustment may help with the flooding problem under the meat/cheese drawer as well, but most likely you have a clogged drain too because it's a very common issue with these fridges. There should be a panel on the bottom back of the fridge with 3 or 4 Phillips head screws that opens access to the drain tubes which are just about in the horizontal center. The drain tubes are little white plastic tubes with flexible bulges (they look like really oversized whitish/clear bendy straws). They are about 5 inches long each and you will probably see a bunch of gunk at the bottom where they enter the plastic evaporation tray. There is a rubber grommet with a flap on the end of them that needs to be cleaned out, and there may even be some ice formed in the tube that needs to be cleaned out. This will take a bit of time and patience while crouching or on your knees, so be ready for that and have towels ready for excess water. I found a turkey baster and a glass of warm water to be very helpful as well.

LG fridge freezer GR-L207QVJA. The ice dispenser gives a choice of crushed ice or ice cubes, but has stopped dispensing ice cubes and gives crushed ice on both settings.

You have a solenoid switch which switches the dispenser back and forth from crushed to cube. It could be stuck or not working or the parts connecting it could be disconnected or broken. You will have to observe to see if any parts are moving and if any noise is coming from the solenoid

Hi I have the lg gr-151ssf it has a strange tube hanging inside hanging hown from the back ice box dont know where its supposed to sit or be. in the drip tray of the ice box ?

Its actually supposed to be resting on the bottom and top taped to the back wall of refrig. This is there to store water before use to pre-cool it for the water dispenser. They do fall from time to time.

LFX 25950TT problem

Just had this same problem. We were away at Disney for four days - turned the icemaker off before we left. We have the LG french door double drawer freezer model. Came home, the ER IF code was displayed. Wouldn't dispense water or ice. Took the icebox out, and it was all frozen in the augers. Then I read on the door something to this effect - "if you turn off the icemaker, it will not continue to cool the ice. This will cause the ice to melt and leak out of the unit, and when it refreezes, the dispenser will not produce ice or water."

So, I took the ice box out, emptied it, reinstalled it, and the unit os making ice and dispensing water as I write.

Again, if you turn off the icemake, empty the ice box, or you will get the error message when you start the ice maker again.
