Question about Soyo (SY-P4VTP) Motherboard
Currently I have 2.4GHz/128/400 Celeron processor that works fine (but rather slow) with the SOYO's SY-P4VTP motherboard. However, when I install a Pentium 4, 3GHz/512/800 processor then at bootup the M/C repeatidly beeps with a period of about 10 seconds and there is no video signal. I have an ATX 9600 Radeon AGP video card. This 3GHz processor was working fine on ASUS P4C800 Delux motherboard with Intel 875P MCH Chipset. What could be the problem?
Check the rams and if they are ok
try to reset the bios settings from the motherboard jumper settings. like clear CMOS jumper will be there.
