My coby mp4 player is frozen! HELP!!

I was listening to my music then all of a sudden it stopped, i thought i might've accidently pressed the pause button, but i didn't, i pressed every button there is, even tried turning it off, nothing worked, i plugged it on it's usb cord and into my computer tower, but nothing has happened, it is still stuck on the same place. PLEEZE HELP me i juz got this for chrismas!! My sister's mp3 has the same issue. Her's is a touch screen and now it won't work at all. It is frozen on one of the songs and

ok you need to unplug the mp3 from usb port and then shutdown your computer properly then wen it is totally shut down turn it off at the wall and then back on the same thing happens with me you properbly just didnt shut your comp down properly last time you used it

Wait for it to drain completely!
Then charge the player and try using it!
It hapened to me once.....
But then it worked fine! :)

The same thing happened to me. Have you tried resetting it? Open up a paperclip and poke it in the back hole. The mp3 should reset. If this doesn't work, you are going to have to reformat it, although I did not have to do that so I don't know how.

all you have to do is hold the select button and the power button at the same time for about 5 seconds.

or you can insert a paper clip into the reset button. it wont reset your MP3 it will just unfreeze

MP4 player I have downloaded several music albums(folders) onto my Mp4 player, but how do I change folders to listen to different artist. I have a Craig MP4 player model number CMP616F
Press the mode button on mp4 player to find the music directory and select what you want to change to.

The radio on my Coby 610 turns off after 3 minutes of play
I don't think I am actually solving this, but I think I may have a reason why it is happening. I am having the same problem with the radio turning off after about three minutes (I, too, had to reinstall the firmware).
I think the system sees the player as "inactive" when in radio mode and shuts down after a few minutes of "inactivity" -- even though you are, in reality, listening to the radio. The exact same thing happens when you pause an MP3 you are listening to; the system will see the player as inactive (because the music is paused) and shut down after a few minutes.
Maybe there isn't anything in the system (firmware?) that can differentiate the inactivity of just listening to music coming in through an antenna and the inactivity of paused digital music?
Feel free to send this to Coby tech support and see what comes back.

Hi, my MP3 Player is chargeable via USB but when I plug it into my computer this is what happens- 1st- The MP3 Player turns on but all it shows on the MP3 screen is a computer, an MP3 Player, and "zzzz" coming out of both the MP3 and the Computer on the screen of the MP3 Player. 2nd- A screen pops up on my computer giving me 3 options- 1st option- "Open device to view files using Internet Explorer" 2nd option- "Sync digital media files to this device using windows media player" 3rd option- "Take no action" At this point, I press Cancel. Shouldnt the MP3 Player be charging now? Its not... take note that when Im charging the MP3 the power is on but Im not doing anything and the same screen is showing- a computer, an MP3 Player, and "zzzz" coming out of both the MP3 and the Computer on the MP3 screen. Ive tried with both the power on and off., WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?!
