How to reset access code on magnavox 20ms233s

Hi. It's really necessary to have the original remote. All so called replacment do not have the "menu" button. In Philips TV's access code is not rquired. In your case, some channels are "whiped" and cannot be recalled. If you can go into setup-menu, things can be rearranged. There are numerous web-shops where you can buy an orignal remote. I recently bought an original remote for my DVD player. This however was at an on-line shop in Belgium. Just surch for Pilips on line shops in your country. Good luck.

I have a mitsubishi tv model cs27200 and I dont have a remote. I got a universal remote but it wont bring up the menu. I need to program the channels for cable. I only get local channels without bringing...

You would need to look up how to program that remote to your specific tv. I would look up the owners manual if you dont have it for the remote...and follow the instructions for it. However, you will have to directly use the tv to program it to the cable. The universal remote will only change the channels and volume for you. Use your menu button to bring it up, make sure its set to cable and not antenna, and use your channel + and - to navigate through the menu and vol + to select your option

NEED TO KNOW WERE ON THE REMOTE DO I GO TO SEARCH FOR CHANNELS

To search for channels (this is called a channel scan, auto program, or auto scan) you need to go into the TV's menu. There should be a menu button or setup button on your TV's remote that will bring the menu up on the screen.

The TV's menu actually has more than one menu in it. Each menu has a different set of options. The first one you'll likely see is the one that has the picture options such as brightness, color, tint, etc. You need to find the one that has the channel setup options. On this screen you'll see what you're looking for.

I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here. Please be sure to vote on my response. I hope I've earned a good rating from you today.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Remote will not work. Can't perform channel setup scan.

Unplug it for a day or 2 and it will bring up the menu again like the first time.
I had the same problem with the 13 inch symphonic.

I HAVE A DURABRAND TV MODEL #BH2004D. THE REMOTE GOT LOST AND THE TV IS STUCK ON THE INPUT CHANNEL. I'VE ALREADY TRIED SEVERAL UNIVERSAL REMOTES, BUT STILL CAN'T MAKE IT WORK. WHAT OTHER OPTION DO I HAVE...

You need the original remote to change internal and setup options. Universal remotes can only do the basic functions.

Do a Google search to see if someone somewhere has an orignal remote for sale.
