Question about Insignia Sport MP3 Player
Mine behaves the same way ...
... I think I have inadvertantly destroyed the charging part of the circuitry to the battery
... I used another device's charger plugged into the insignia while playing it on my "stereo" system over a number of hours
... that was probably a mistake
... my unit won't turn on and won't stay on when plugged into a computer
... I tried swapping batteries, but no luck
... I tried removing the battery, then plugging into the computer with the same response (i.e. stays on only a few seconds)
... my conclusion is that I fried the battery charging part of the insignia by using an incompatible charger ... no joy here ... I think there's little alternative but to buy another (or another brand)
Best of luck.
