Hi!

Please remove the detergent drawer and reach to the top of back of drawer and check for a water diverter that may be stuck between an open and closed position. Turn it back to the closed position and then you will need to replace the drawer.
If this doesn't help then follow this procedure:--
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser.
3. Check wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check dispenser motor for powered rotations. Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.
Thanks Rylee

F30 error code...what is this problem?

F30 is a dispenser failure code on the Duet Sport washer.
It means the dispenser motor will not go to the proper position.
Remove the top of the washer and inspect the dispenser linkage to see if it is binding up.
Post back with what you find and we will check from there.
Thanks/Mike

My washer is giving me an error message of F30 and it makes humming noise like it wants to come on but it doesn't.

The fault guide says the following about F30:

DISPENSER SYSTEM ERROR
The dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position

1. Unplug and disconnect power
2. Check mechanical linkage from dispensor motor to top of dispenser
3. Check wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and central control unit
4. Check dispenser motor for powered rotations

Hope this helps

Showing F-30 error code

F30, indicate an electronic communication problem with the washer. Some Duet models are equipped with electronic displays that will read "F30" when this error occurs. Models without displays instead illuminate a given combination of LEDs to indicate an error. In the Duet Sport, for example, when the "Wash," "Rinse," "Spin" and "Cycle Complete" LEDs are are illuminated at the same time, an F30 error is present.

Other comments about this problem suggest "storing" detergents on the top cover. A new, full bottle of Tide caused problems for us. Cleared the top of it, problem solved.

I suggest visit and check this link: Use and Care Guide

Hope helps.

Whirlpool Duet Sport WFW8300SW02. Water pours out detergent disp

You could have a clog in the housing underneath the dispenser where the water flows through a hose into the tub.
Pull the dispenser drawer completely out.
There is a tab that needs to be depressed to release the drawer and remove it.
Check the opening at the bottom of the housing just inside the dispenser housing opening to see if a small sock or garment is clogging this opening.
Reach down into this opening to see if an item is inside the hose.
This is the normal issue that will cause water to leak out of the dispenser housing.

Wash the dispenser drawer thoroughly with warm water. Make sure that you pull off the siphon covers and wash all siphon holes. This process is described in your owner's manual. Replace the dispenser drawer and try the washer again.

you have an article of clothing stuck between the tubs. run your hand around between the tubs and you will probably find something at about the 11:00 o' clock position.
