Question about Ambir Technology TravelScan Pro 600
The scanner(travelscan pro 600) was working fine, but now for some reason when I plug it in to the usb ports or even just start the program I get this message "The scan was aborted because the scanner is not powered on or not connected properly. Please check the hardware connections and try again."
Go to Device Manager and most likely the travelscan pro 600 is not popping up under imaging devices where it should be. Unplug the scanner and plug it into a different USB port. Try this on all the USB Ports on the machine if it reappears in device manager then the software will work. If you are using a USB extention cord or USB hub get rid of them till you try all the ports. If it doesn't i would suggest contacting the manufacture and seeing if the scanner is still under warranty.
