Be careful to only hoop the front of the shirt. Use LARGE safety pins to keep the rest of the fabric away from the needle. Roll the other pieces of the shirt and pin them to keep them out of your sewing area.

This I do quit often, just pull the shirt away from under the foot as you go, pause the machine every now and then and readjust the position of the shirt, it is time consumming but it really works and using the correct stabilizer with spray on glue as well as the plastic stabilizer on tob, (pin this very tight on top of the shirt) you get a beautiful result.

Use temp basting spray and place just the front of the shirt on the hoop on top of the stabalizer. You will need to just hoop the stabalizer so as not to make the shirt pucker when it is done. pin the rest of the shirt up or use a rubber band ( which is what I do) by using the spray you can adjust the shirt on the hoop without making the backing loose (backing that is loose will pucker the final image when it is washed. I use self adhesive washable on the front of jersey fabric as well to make sure it does not stretch out while I sew.

Close your futura file & exit, switch off your futura machine. Disconnect the embroidery unit from the machine, move the hoop carriage a bit to the left then to the right & it should be able to move. Connect back embroidery unit to your futura machine, ensuring the connecting point click properly. Re thread the machine & ensure needle is fully up position. Now you switch on the machine, you will see hoop carriage moving and stop at its zero point. If that is OK and the earlier led blinking gone, you should be able to operate the futura embroidery program again.

WHEN I SEND DESIGN TO MACHINE MY HOOP DOES NOT GO TO THE RIGHT PLACE THIS IS A EMBORIDY SEWING MACHINE SINGER FUTURA

Keep trying. I read on the Future web site, that there is an "order" to staring. The software assumes you are using the large hoop. Every thing needs to be in place, before you turn the Future software on. Then the hoop should move to the correct portion. I just get mad and move it by hand. Check out the FAQ on the web site.

Carriage of my futura 200 is stuck

Turn off the machine, remove the Hoop from the embroidery arm, then turn it back on. You'll notice some of the hoops have an extra piece of metal that the machine identifies it with. Mine just didn't like the hoop I had on.

Trnsmitting problems I cant transmitt to my machine and it is now getting frustrating.

I have the solution! After calling 1-8004SINGER.
When this happens,
turn off emb. machine
detach hoop
exit out of futura program back to the windows screen
Then, turn on emb. machine
Reattach hoop
Open Furtura program
Select design
Select transmit button
and this should work. You have to this in the exact same order each time.

Do not switch on the machine with the small hoop attached. After changing the hoop reload (close and open again) the design or restart the software or select the small hoop manually from the menu.

Wow, I finally get to have a solution.
1. Turn the machine off.
2. Remove the hoop.
3. CAREFULLY slide the bar on the embroidery unit to the left.
4. CAREFULLY slide the piece where the hoop attaches toward you.
5. Turn on the sewing machine. The machine should take the unit to "standby" with a click.
6. Attach the hoop with the power on.
7. Exit the Futura software.
8. Restart the software.
This "should" fix the problem, however, you may have to repeat this process more than once to get it to "stick".
