How do I change the a/c filter on a 2006 lancer

Try the left inner fender near the fuel tank. you may have to remove left rear wheel to access it

likely dropped into the gas tank, and, with any luck, there should be access if you remove the rear seat coushin

Check fuel pressure. has fuel filter ever been changed ?

@Cyril.. Try to adjust your cable wire in your trotle then set it up @ 900 rpm.. Well that what i did to my 2004 lancer oz.2.0L it works

Call a dealer or check autoparts syore.

Replace it at 100,000 miles. This is an interference engine and as such if the belt breaks you will have engine damage.

you will find the air cleaner box on the front drivers side under the hood...it will be near the finder it could be round or square some you will need to remove the screws out of the sides of the filter box and some you will just have three to four clips you will have to snap the clamp off and then lift out hope this will helps you out sincerely D.Jones

fuel filter , spark plugs, air filter, timing belt,
power steering-a/c-alternator belts

there are special tools needed that only dealers and some trans shops will have.Definitely a no-no for back yard mechanic
