Have just been given a Fuji FinePix 5700 and am very pleased with it.
However while the date has been set in the camera it doesn't appear on the printed photos.
Is there any way I can have the date printed on photos

followed the instruction in the manual but i still can't get it?why?

Some camera's give you that option right off of your camera LCD screen menu. You can make the date show up just on the camera, or not at all on either the camera/photo's, otherwise on both it will show up. Three choices. Check on the buttons that allow's you to choose the date and make sure it does indeed allow you three choices.
