Question about Computers & Internet
I installed recently a Creative Labs CT4810 sound card, that has a 5880 chipset. I installed it to replace the on board sound card that has my motherboard, because i want to use some old DOS games (i has installed Win98 and WinXP on the PC). The on board card allow me the listen the sound effects on the games (guns, voices, motors) but does not allows to listen the background music on the games, so i installed these other card specting to solve this problem. I disabled the on-board card in the BIOS. The card is working fine under WnXP and Win98. But now i have 2 problems: 1. on win XP, the system hangs up every time i need to turn off or restart the PC (this begins since i installed the PCI sound card). 2. On win 98, the old DOS games hasn´t sound at all, because i didn´t found any DOS driver for the sound card. How can i solve the Win XP problem, and where can i get drivers for DOS? Thanks

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
