Pictures taken and attached to email too large to send.
Pictures taken with the Kodak Easy Share c319.
I tried to send a picture as an attachment and it gives me error messages that the attachment is too large and there is not enough memory to send it. Is there a way I can adjust the MB of the picture through the camera to take a jpg that isn't so large in memory to send?

Don't change anything in the camera. Use the computer. Right click on a picture file you want to send and choose e-mail. A box will open giving you choices of picture sizes. Choose one and your e-mail will open with the picture attached. Your original will be untouched.
How to send a photograph attached to an e-mailIt's easy to send a photography to us or to anybody else, using the software that you normally use to send email. However, you can't attach a photo file or any other kind of file unless you know exactly where it's located on your computer. Most pictures will be located within the overall folder "My Pictures" which is within the folder "My Documents"
Compose a message in your email software, such as America Online or Outlook Express
Find the button for attachments on your email software. It may look like a paper clip and it will probably say "attach files".
Click on that button. An explorer window will open.
Navigate to the folder where the file you want to send is located. For example, mypictures/2007Jan/0123.jpg
Click on the name of the picture or other file.
If you want to send more than one file, hold down the "control" key and click on the additional file names.
The display of the email message you're sending will have change. It will now say something like "attachments (1) 0123.jpg"
The message will probably also tell you the size of the file(s) you have attached - "140KB" for example.
Email with attachments takes longer to upload than plain text. If your photos are large, it may take a minute or more.
Download or transfer the pictures to a folder in your computer - preferably your "Pictures" folder. When you write the Email, "attach" the picture to the Email by locating the Picture folder in your computer and selecting the pictures you want attached.
You first download the photos from your memory card to your computer and usually to your My Documents-My pictures. Then connect to the internet on your email account, lets say yahoo for example. Then go to compose a new message and right down the under the "Subject"box you will see Attach files box there, click it and you will be shown at least four rectangular boxes numbered file 1:choose file.Click it and you will be given a dialog box on where to get he files you want attached.Go to "My documents-My picturesthen click the photo you chose and click [open] on the right hand option box.The file you chose will now appear on the File 1 rectangle box. Do the same for the other files if you want to add more pictures. Then of course send it.Sending it may take time,so be patient. If successful it will say "sent".If not some of your file are too large.Reduce the megapixels to a max.of 3.00mpxls. in your camera.Good luck.
You should be able to send a text message with the picture attached to an email address.
to send a multimedia message/text message w. picture attached: -find the actual picture you want to send on your phone and select it -then hit your "menu" or "options" button, which should give you an option to send/share the picture -select text message or multimedia message (MMS) -in the "to" line for the text message, enter the email address you'd like to send it to -hit "send"
