Two things that happen in your bed (among many others [lol]) HEAT AND MOISTURE!

Two of the biggest enemies of any electronic equipment.

Not a good place to keep your unit while using your bed for any other purpose.

Ok here's what happened: My battery was almost dead, and I had recently bought a new charger, so I plugged it in before I went to bed and it was fine. When I woke up, the screen was blinking and the logo...

i think the problem is in the charger you bought... maybe it wasnt very compatible with the phone or maybe it has some deffects... try using a different charger

Phone doesn't turn on.

You should not allow the battery to fully drain,it will die sooner.

Remove the battery for 5mins, replace, and then try and turn on the phone.

Psp doesn't want to turn on

The polarity of the charger you used is wrong or the wrong voltage, and has messed up the programming n the battery.  You may be lucky if you get a new battery and use the Right charger, It might fix it.  Sony put a battery in the PSP that has a memory chip in it, and I think it will automatically disconnect if the wrong vooltage hits it, or wrong polarity. be warned that I have seen where someone got a new battery and it did not solve the problem. If this happens to you Contact Sony at the following number.
