Question about ASUS Eee PC 1000H Laptop
I downloaded Avast to an eeePC 1000H XP. Each time Avast is switched on, the computer freezes. To overcome this: I turn off the computer by holding down the power button, restart the laptop, turn off Avast, then all functions work as normal. Can you advise how a completely "computer illiterate" user can over come this situation? I want to use Avast as I use this on my old PC. Avast is good for my useage. NOD32 has expired, I don't wish to pay for their services.
Thank you for your time.
If you haven't already uninstall NOD32 and Avast and reboot then reinstall Avast and see if that works

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
