Question about Dell Latitude D620 Notebook
Iv been using my dell latitude d620 laptop for a long time and it never gave me trouble. Now when i turn it on it starts normally and then when it goes to the loading screen where is says Microsoft Corporation and the green thing goes threw the bar. It just stays there for like an hour and wont move on the the Windows Vista page where you log in.
Can anyone help me? Please?
Did you upgrade the RAM when you upgraded to Vista. The D620 does not have the resources to run vista as pre-configured and requires, at the least, a memory upgrade. 1gb or greater is recommended.
Please upgrade the ram, or try F8 during boot for Safe-Mode and see if your RAM is not the issue. To check the amount of RAM you have:
Press and Hold Windows Key + PauseBreak
If you still have 256mb or 512mb vista is likely to barely crawl.
Let us know what you find.
