Question about RIM BlackBerry 8700g Smartphone
I have a blackberry 8700 and somehow I deleted the phone icon (maybe others too) that was on the home screen. As a result, I can no longer use the phone portion of the device. I can still text, but I can no longer dial out. Is there a way that I can reset my phone completely w/ it's original default setting.
You can retrieve any lost icons press the options or blackberry button (next to the green call button) in the pop up message munu go to show all and all icons will appear including any others you have hidden by accident

Missing icons from the blackberry, specifically facebook, games and GPS after installed appears to be a profile issue. Go to advanced settings and change the theme from carrier to one of the standard blackberry profile\themes and you will likely see them. I have not figured out yet how to get them on to the carriers theme but this should help a little.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
