You need an audio y cable - That is a cable with a headphone jack (to plug into the speaker/line out jack on the laptop) and on the other end 2 rca jacks (they need to be plugged into the left and right audio inputs on your tv but make sure it is the same inputs that work with the s-video cable)
That should get you sound on your tv.
