Question about Sirius Stiletto 2 Satellite Radio Receiver

Open Question

Pioneer DEH-3000IB sat ready reciever now says no device (sirius)

I have the Pionner DEH 3000IB in dash car stereo with the Pioneer CD SB10 satelite radio device connected to the Sirius SCC1 satelite reciever in my truck.  The device worked properly for 4 Months and now when I access Sirius on my Pioneer radio it simply says no device.  I don't know if the problem is the head unit, the pioneer CD-SB10, the Sirius SCC1, or one of the cables.  Each item is expensive to relace including the cable.  But I can eliminate atannae or subscription problems as they would provide different messages or problems.  I cant live with normal radio.  its been 1 week and I cant take it.  I would appreciate any help.  Thank you.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Clarion SIRIUS Radio Receiver - Not Receiving All Subscribed Channels

I am having the same problem, i was able to manually get about 37 channels by holding down the BND button which changed the mode to manual tuning which allowed me to manually move to individual stations. By going bak and forth I was able to add more stations, but once I got to channel 38 (which is not a used channel) I could not add more channels. I don't know if this will help you get a few more channels. I am going to try to call clarion to see if they can help, if you get it fixed, please post what you did. Thanks and hopefully we can get this fixed

SOURCE: Power but no signal

I work for sirius so I know about all of these different issues and the most common one is the connections. It is imperative that the radios be connected to power with the cig lighter adapter. This adapter had circuitry in it that lowers the cars 12 volts to 5 volts which the sirius unit ooerates on. The old units were 12 volt and could hard wired into the vehicles fuse block, but all of the new radios operate on 5 volts. If this is not the issue with either of you then you have defective units. Being that all warranty replacement are with remanufactured units, your chance of getting a problematic unit increases after the initial return of your new unit.

SOURCE: sirius s50 problems

Sirius S50 sucks...and Sirius customer service sucks! I bought this radio less then a year and a half ago to never hear music now! I've spent hours on the phone with them...it would work somewhat for a day then nothing! They finally...after another hour and some change on the phone again this evening decide they will send me a new radio with a complimentary installation card. Great I thought...until I see the radio they are sending to replace what I have. Like they are doing me a favor...they are getting rid of their own trash, reconditioned out dated radio! Wonderful service...damn I can get any more sarcastic then I am at the moment! Let me tell you my plan...because I was going to cancel my service right then and there! I'm using that damn card towards installing the new radio the **** way but to also 'un hard wire' the S50 so my ****'s back in place...then I'll come home, take the half *** **** out, put it back in the box...ship the **** back and cancel my damn service. If they cared about this client...they sure didn't show it! If I treated all the customers I service daily this way...hell I'd be out of a job!

How do i pick up satellite radio on my Pioneer Premier car radio model # DEH-P5901B? It says SAT ready.

You need a receiver that plugs into the back of the CD player
Here is a link that lists the accessory for your model CD player, including the XM and siris model's

Hooking sat to car stereo

that plug at the back is not for sat radio. It is for use with steering wheel controls. You have the blue plug at rear of stereo and that is the plug for sat radio. Ericson electronics is contracted to build the sat compatible units that wire into this radio through the blue. plug. if you are using 3.5 plug audio control from a portable sat receiver, the you will need to buy an aux input cable for your stereo..

Will no longer switch to sirius sat rec

My dad had a similar issue. The only way we resolved it was by unplugging the satellite receiver cable from the stereo, turn on, then off again, then plug the cable back in. Essentially, it has to re-recognize that the cable is plugged in.
