This usually means a clog in the system or a clogged bag or filter.

If the light is not glowing it means the brush roll is not spinning. The belt may be stretched and need replaced. The brush roll may be installed improperly. The magnet in the brush roll has to be aligned with the indicator light for the light to work when. The brush roll is spinning

No suction and performance indicator light is on

You probably dnot have a proper seal. When you change the bag make sure you close the vauum body tight. Any leaking of air will cause the vac. to lose suction. Vacuum simply means no air. Turn the machine on then listen or try to feel if there is any air escaping. Hope this helps, Chris

Performance Indicator light comes on

something is clogged.. a coat hanger will get it out from hose.. make a small hook on the end, stick it in and fish it out.. probably where it is .. drop something in it like a quarter and if it dont fall through.. there is a clog.. also check the filter..

The performance indicator light will not go out. I have cleaned the bag, filter and hose. there does not seem to be enough suction.

you are clogged somewhere ...

no suction?
performance indicator says no suction?

find and remove the clog.

id be looking in the hose about 4 inches from where the dirt enters the brush but dont limit your looking. The entire system should be checked for a clog. Remove it and you willbe back in business.

I have 'trash picked' more than 100 vacuums this summer, off the curb. 90 were clogged. I cleaned then and turned them into $.

Performance indicator light is on and suction is not strong

You do have a clog! trust me. Check the wand and the yoke which is on the brush assembly. its the part that connects with the wand.
if thats not it then it has to be in the hose. the only way to get it out of the hose is to take one or both ends off and push a broom stick through it

Performance indicator light

check to make sure the bag isn't being sucked into the air filter. open the access door where the bag is and you'll see the air filter at the bottom. to check, leave the door open while you would see the performance indicator light on, and then pull up the bag. this is one of many solutions i'm sure to the performance indicator problem.
