Question about Car Audio & Video
I have a 98 vw golf. My battery went dead a while ago and I got a jump... Ever since my radio says "safe." I was reading up on the problem and supposedly the radio should flash "safe" and then move on so you can enter the code. I see other people have had this problem but I haven't seen any solutions other than some idiots saying to just enter the code. The screen is STUCK and you aren't able to enter a code at all. I saw someone say that they let their car run for an hour and the radio eventually moved from safe to enter he code. Well, I let my car run for an hour and a half. It hasn't changed from saying safe. If anyone knows how to solve this Please let me know! I would really like some music!
Normally you do have to leave your car running sometimes 10 mins sometimes couple hours,
I had same problem with my one and i must have been driving around for days like it and one day it just decided to work
You may find that if you disconnect the battery for couple mins then put it all back together it will work
If not matey then you probley have a faulty headunit
so this is what i suggest to do
Disconnect Battery for say 5 mins then connect it all up and see what happens if not you most prob do have a faulty headunit. you can take it to your local car audio shop and they will either repair it or decode it for you
Hope this helps you
Please leave feeback and rate thanks :)
