Make sure when your in the printer settings window, that "auto resize to fit paper" isn't selected, as that will alter the size of your image when printed

Hi the problem is you have measured the image  but for printing you have to take care of resolution also... the printing resolution is 300.  Use 300dpi setting while printing you get the correct dimentions as well as quality if you select to fit the page you might loose the quality of the print

How to shrink document to fit screen size when printing

Hi,

Scaled Printing
The procedure for specifying a scaling value and printing a document with pages enlarged or reduced to match the document to the paper size is as follows:
1. Open the printer driver setup window, and select Scaled Printing from the Page Layout list on the Page Setup tab.

2. Using Page Size, select the page size that was set with your application.
3. Do either of the following to set a scaling factor:
Select a Printer Paper Size.
Select a printer paper size, which is different from the Page Size, from the Printer Paper Size list. If the printer paper size is smaller than the Page Size, the page image will be reduced. If the printer paper size is larger than the page size, the page image will be enlarged.6c3578e0-f243-44b0-aa8e-f7bb7752ed56.jpg

Directly type in a value into the Scaling box.

The current settings are displayed in the Settings Preview on the left side of the printer driver.
4. Click OK.
When you execute print, the document will be printed with the specified scale.
Note
If the application software with which you created the original has the scaled printing function, configure the settings on your application software. You do not need to also configure the same setting in the printer driver. When Scaled Printing is selected, the Staple Side list box appears grayed out and is unavailable (when Duplex Printing is not selected). When Borderless Printing check box is checked for the Page Layout list, Scaled Printing cannot be selected.
Tip
Selecting Scaled Printing changes the printable area.

Hope this helps

Want to print black and white. How?

Setting the font type color in a Microsoft Office Word document to black will ensure that the document prints the text in black. However, if there are images, graphics or photographs within the document, they will more than likely print in color or hued colors similar to black. To ensure that the entire document prints solely in black ink, you must set the color settings on your individual printer to black-and-white

Instructions:
1.Click "File" and then "Print." To open the print dialogue box using keyboard commands, press "CTRL" and "P" simultaneously.
2.Select the printer you are using at the top of the dialogue box under "Printer" and "Name."
3.Click the "Properties" button next to the selected printer. The dialogue box that appears is different for all users, as it depends on the type of printer being used.
4.Click on a tab, button or selection box indicating "Color." Most options include high-quality color, grayscale and black cartridge only. Choosing grayscale will print the document using various shades of gray and other tones such as blue or green that match the actual hues in the document visible on the screen. A photo or picture that may look black or gray could actually have blue undertones. To print purely in black and white with no undertones, you must select either "black cartridge" or "black and white only."
5.Select "OK" to return to the Microsoft Word printer dialogue box. Press the "Print" button to print the black-and-white document.

I hope you find it very helpful. Thanks.

If envelope printing Canon PC-D340 All-In-One Laser Printer incorrect paper size problems.showing

You need to make sure the paper size and that of the printer matches in the dialogue box.
i.e assuming you a printing an envelop DL size, make sure your envelop is the exact size you choose in your page layout.
secondly, open the properties in the printer dialogue box, where you have letter, change the default "letter" paper to you envelop size.
Note: if your envelop size is not accurate and the actually printed, you will still receive "incorrect paper size" error. At this point I turn of mine and turn on again.

How do you print screen?

Hi John,

To print the screen what you see, Press the Print Scn Button on top row of your keyboard.

Open Paint Brush or Microsoft Word and mouse right click and click left click on Paste.

Click on File and Print button or CTRL + P key to open the print dialog box and click print.

It used to be much easier earlier when there were dot matrix printer which would directly print when Print screen button was pressed. But today you need to follow this work around to print the screen

Epson Stylus Pro 7600 - Oversize Printing

Select the proper page size in the page setup dialogue box and again in the various print dialogue box sub menus. Also make sure your printer is selected and you are using the correct drivers.

If all of these things are in place you should get a long list of paper types in the pull down menu when you attempt to print.

MX 700 scans appear too small in Emails

This is a configeration issue with the appearence of the email within outlook express. It is quite normal to have this kind of appearence. The issue is in the way you present the attachment in the email. If you set it up as an attachment than you may not see the image at all, however if it is included in the body of the email, you will be able to see the image, but the image will never be full screen size as this is the way outlook express works. to get around this, set up your email through word as a full picture and email directly from word.

Problem getting the Ricoh Aficio CL12000N Printer to print files

Hi, Sorry you are having problems,
Ok, well, that sounds to me like you have a new version of Adobe Acrobat. And, well, the new version of Acrobat works with more and more options and bigger and more complex documents.... And.... well, your G3 and the Ricoh printer just can't handle these files.
So, what is the solution other than buying a new computer and a new printer, which would certainly solve your problem, ?
What I recommend is print pdf files as images, you will find this option in the print dialogue box, unfortunately, i don't have access to a Mac OS 9 machine to take snapshots to show you, but, if you snoop around the print dialogue options, I'm sure you'll find ( Print as Image ) and that feature really reduces the weight of the image you are sending to the printer.

Creating Halftone Dots

in photoshop you can use a filter to create dots you can actually see on screen, cant remember exactly where it is, but it is in the filter menu. Also to print halftone dots you hit print and go into the print preview dialogue box, click on the screens button. another dialogue opens uncheck use printer defaults. This allows you to specify what frequency angle and dot shape you would like for each color you are printing. By default CMYk are specified for the layers visual space, other spot colors can be added using channels and will show up within this dialogue along with CMYK options. however, you can only have one channel selected at a time to get it to print correctly.
Similarly in illustrator, the options are in the print dialogue. detailed info about each of these processes can be found in the help menu of the respective programs. you may want to check out this link. Many of these questions are answered in this forum all the time. http://screenprinters.net/articles.php
