Question about GE Profile Harmony WPGT9360E 4.0 Cu. Ft. King-Size Washer with Stainless Steel Basket
Everything works fine till after the wash. Hot water fills tub slowly after wash is done, can hear the hissing sound of the water and when I turn off the hot water supply it stops. If I dont turn off hot water the basket gets filled when I come back to it later. I have had this problem a few times in the past and thought I had read it has something to do with putting too much detegent in at one time, so its diluting the machine. (?) Also I noticed that it sounds like there is water under the baket when I move it around, but not in the basket. Is this normal? Thank you for any help you can offer. Kevin
That is not normal. Usually this happens because of a faulty inlet valve or because of a faulty control/timer board. The inlet valve is tested first and eventually replaced.
If the valve is ok , then proceed in testing the timer board.
