Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
My washing machine was leaking, called to have it repaired. Technician came over and said it was the pump. Had it replaced. This morning i'm washing towels and it's leaking more than before. I paid to have the same problem. If I paid for a pump that I didn't need because obviously it wasn't the pump that was leaking, do I have the right to get credit or my money back for something I didn't need? If the tech goes back, and finds something else wrong with it should he even charge me for a new part?
If your repair man is reputable, he should not charge you for replacing a part that was not defective.
It is possible that the new pump is also defective.
I would at least call them and let them know that the problem was not fixed.
Most shops try to provide excellent customer service or they don't stay in business very log.
Give them a chance to make it right with you.
