Look on the back of the unit and give me the brand and model number. Many of the user manuals are available for free on line at this site: http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/mytrevo/myTrevo.jsp?page=man

No remotes work

WHAT WENT WRONG WITH THE ORRIGINSL REMOTE. NEED NORE INFO. If the remotes are not working , is the TV reciving the signal from the remote rather than the remote sending the signal .If the TV is reciving it the light should flash on TV every time it receives a message from remote. if this is not happening it sounds like the decoder in the TV needs replacing / LED might just need cleaning to open access to the sight of view. When hooking up HDMI why can I not get sound I hooked the HDMI from the cable box to the reciver and from the reciver to the TV I assinged the Hdmi and I get picture on the Tv I also can get sound out of...

I have researched on your issue and found that the Receiver is not capable of processing audio from HDMI input. It will bypass the signals from its HDMI input to HDMI output..
The Receiver has 3 HDMI input and one output. Hence you can use this as a HDMI switch to connect three HDMI devices to single HDMI port on the TV.
In order to get the sound from speakers connected to the Receiver, it is required to make alternate digital or analog audio connection.
You can confirm the information from the manual of the Home Theater System. Please refer page # 36 of the Manual to get the information. I have provided a link where you can download the Manual for the HT System:

Hi -- I have a Logitech Harmony 676.We installed a new component ( a Bluray player ), and had to create a new account. So we went through all the steps, and now we can't get any sound. Also, the TV doesn't...

First you need to figure out why your not getting sound. For the following don't use the remote. Turn everything on manually. Set the TV's input to the source you want i.e. DVD, input1, inuput2, etc... While viewing that source manually turn up the volume on the TV or receiver. If using the receiver, toggle thru the inputs untill you here your program. Write down the combination of equipment and there input settings. Bottom line we need to get your hardware working and understand the settings before we start working on the remote. Once the hardware is working you can then program the Harmony with the correct settings. If your hardware is not getting you audio please send me more information concerning your setup. TV type, Cable box, direcTV Reciver. I need to understand your setup before I can help you troubleshoot your system.
Hope this helps.

The company probably will not send it.You can buy it at any store walmart, radio shack etc.Of course you need a tv antenna for uhf. The term "hdtv antenna" is not of use in this case,as all modern uhf antennas are desing for DTV. Sometimes depends on your needs:general receive, one direcition recive (yagi or directional)etc. In other worlds you need an antenna and a coax cable, nothing else.

Onkyo tx-sr806 reciver ''DTS HD''

hdmi connection between player and AVR. Right?

I am sure you would have also done the first time setup and set all the 7 speaker as well as the subwoofer thru your auto or manual speaker set up and that the reason you are getting Neo6.

On your Receiver, please also check the format of the digital input signal thru "Displaying Source Information" Press the [RECIEVER] button, and then press the [DISPLAY] buttorn repeatedly to cycle thru the available information.

a).. If the information shown say that DTS - ES Discrete, DTS- Matrix, DTS -HD and so on.... then we need to check as to why the receiver is not accepting the signal.
b).If the information shows otherwise and a 7.1 signal is not availalbe, then its possible that the source(in this case the BD player/or the recording is not sending the required signal).

lets take the case (a). In this case if you have all the 7.1 set up in place and you are getting the required signal , then you can assign a default listening mode to each input source that will be selected automatically when you select each input source.

Press [RECEIVER] button followed by [SETUP] button and enter listening mode setup, use up , down buttons to select the input source that you want to set and press [ENTER].

then use [up], [down] button to select the signal format that you want to set.
then use the [[LEFT] and [RIGHT] buttons to select a listening mode.

When you are finished, you can press [SETUP] again.

The above is with experience with ONKYO AV Receivers. In case you have a problem , please let me know so that I can go thru the SETUP menu of your particular receiver i.eTX-SR- 806.

HOpe the above sort out. DO let me know.
Please do rate this solution and thanks for using FixYa!

No video

I am not sure if you have gone into the Receivers Menu or not? If you have NOT! Then please try this: Go into the Receivers Menu (If you do not see the MENU on the TV you can hook up a Composite (Yellow) Cable from the Receivers Monitor Out (Yellow) and select the Input on the TV that you plug into) Look in the Menu for Inputs or In/Out Config. or Video Setup. Look for the Input that you are using for that Device. Change the Video setting to HDMI. I also recommend doing this for you Audio as well. Find the Audio Inputs and MATCH each Input to there DEVICE and CABLE (Connection) Being used. Also check in the Receiver Menu for UPSCALE or UPSCALER. Turn this on or off to see if your TV is Compatible! Hope This Helps! P.S. Check the Manual for Upscaling Capabilities NOT all Receivers upscale and route the SAME!
