Hamilton beach brew station spring problem

The spring goes at the top of the stem, under the filter basket. This keeps tension on the basket, so it will pop up when you remove the cover.

I own a brew station master and we have not had it a year yet and when we put the water in to brew 12 cups it only brews 4-6 cups we have cleaned the coffee pot with a cleaner but it has not helped

If the model you have is a 74214, I had the same problem. I had to repeatedly turn the pot off and on to get a whole pot of coffee. I returned the first one within 90 days back to Walmart with no receipt. They exchanged it with no problem The second one did the same thing so it went back also. I was going to exchange it for the same model but got lucky and found the next upgrade model (47665) on sale at that time. Not only did Walmart credit me the cost of the faulty one, but refunded me the $5.00 difference!!!! I've had the better model (47665) for about 9 nonths now and had a problem with a waher/gasket falling out causing the coffee to run all over the place. I called Hamilton Beach customer service at 1-800-851-8900 and explained the problem. They informed me that the tiny plasitc piece that holds the gasket in place had broken and I would need a whole new tank. They then informed me that for the $5.00 cost of shipping, they would send me the new tank FREE OF CHARGE!!!!!! AMAZING. I love Hamilton Beach and know that they stand behind their products. Call them at 1-800-851-8900 and explain the problem. I'm sure they will remedy the issue at little or no cost to you and if it can be repaired, I know they will send the part with instructions at no cost. Good Luck to you. Katherine

My hamilton beach brew station 10 cup makes 2 cups then stops

Is it a model #47214? If so, I had to take TWO back to the store I bought them from within a 6 month period. I bought mine at Walmart and even without a receipt they exchanged it for an identical model with no proble. The second one did the same thing. I had to keep turning the pot off and on to get it to complete one brewing cycle. The third trip to Walmart, the next better model (47665) was on sale and agin with no receipt, Walmart gave me the purchase price of the faulty model 47214 toward replacing it with model 47665 which is usually $15.00 more, but because the better one was on sale, I actually got a $5.00 refund too!!!!!!! I love Walmart. BUT.......after about 9 months using the model 47665 constantly thru the day, the coffee ran all over the counter and floor. When I checked it out to see if I could fix it, I found the small round gasket the prevents this from happening had come out. I called Hamilton Beach Customer Support at 1-800-851-8900 and explained the problem. The told me the tiny plastic part that held the washer in was broken and I needed a whole new tank. Imagine my surprise when they then informed me that for the nominal fee of $5.00 for shipping, they would send me a whole new tank, NO CHARGE!!!!! I love Hamilton Beach. They stand behind their products and until you contact them for yourself, you'll never realize how wonderful they are. Call them, 1-800-851-8900 and explain the problem. I know they will remedy the problem as quickly and cheaply as they can. Good Luck to you!!!!!!! Katherine

Dispenser not working

You don't say exactly what the problem is with your Brew Station but I know I bought the model 47214 and had to return it twice. It kept stopping and starting numerous times during the brew cycle. I retuned both to Walmart and they exchanged them with no receipt and no charge each time. I think I had 60 or 90 days to excahnge them. Anyway, the last one I took back was at the same time that the model 47665 was on sale. (the next better model) So I upgranded for the same price. I recently had a problem with the dispensing tank of my current Brew Station, model #47655. The coffee ran right thru onto the counter and floor. I called Hamilton Beach customer service at 1-800-851-8900 and explained the problem. They informed me that the little tiny plastic piece that held the small gasket (looks like a water hose gasket) in place had broken off and could not be fixed. I would need a whole new tank. My brew station is about 8 months old with no receipt. HB then informed me that the whole new tank could and would be sent to me for the cost of shipping of $5.00. YUP!!! FIVE DOLLARS gets me a whole new tank!!!!! I love Hamilton Beach. They truly do stand behind their products. Have your husband call them at 1-800-851-8900 and explain the problem. They will do everything possible to remedy the problem at nominal cost to you. Good Luck. Katherine
