What could i do about tracking my lost blackberry Q10 device

If you have IMEI no. of phone with you, file a police complain and submit a request to all mobile service operators to track if any SIM is put in use with this IMEI no.
Its however difficult to trace it as normally mobile service operators dont co-operate

No signal or satellis

The device has to find at least four GPS satellites to be able to calculate your location on the map.

If the GPS signal is weak or your device is only able to see three satellites or fewer, the location icon is shown in gray, the Driving View is shown in gray, or one of the following messages can be shown:

  • Waiting for a valid GPS signal
  • Poor GPS signal...
  • The GPS signal was lost x seconds ago

Keep in mind that even if your device is working correctly, it may take a couple of minutes for it to work out your location when you switch it on.

I lost my manual and dont know how to pair my phone to my bluetooth.

With the device off press the telephone button on the device until a solid blue light is shown. Then on your phone search for the device and enter 0000 to pair it. Here's the weird thing (for me) - the device HAD to be on my ear for it to work. Testing it when it was on my desk or whatever just didn't work at all.

Lost all data memmory battery low shown on screen

Hi again,

It would seem that you posted twice. Here is the link to your other post. with answer as below posted.

Often devices that needs to store settings/configurationsrequire some sort of power (other than the main power) to retain saidinformation. This comes in the form of a Lithium battery (normally3.0v) something similar as shown below.
There would be a removable lid/cover slot covering said battery.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Have a look to see if your drivers are installed and working correctly.

Go to start-settings---control panel---system---hardware---device manger

Open "network adaptors" and you should see a bluetooth adaptor. Click on the icon to see if the device is working correctly.
Open "ports" and there should be a lot of bluetooth ports shown

If there is no mention of bluetooth, you have lost your drivers and they need to be re-installed.

If the BT is working on your laptop there should be a blue flashing light somewhere..

Let me know what you find..
