Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

Won't upload a certain cd

So, I have uploaded many cd's into my sansa. But only a certain one won't play. My Katharine Mcphee cd refuses to upload. When I try to upload it the screen starts to slowly fizzle out until I have to press the power button. Even her single CD's won't download. Basically, anything from this artist can't be put on my mp3 player. When I had an urge music subscription, I downloaded the songs without any problem. But I cancelled my subscription and I'm bummed cause I can't play this album. If anyone has a solution I would be eternally grateful.

I've tried that. Besides, I have the actual CD. I mean I bought it. It just won't download.

It seems odd that the device wont play 1 particular artist. If you downloaded it from URGE, it may be subscription content and that may be causing the error. I would try burning the music to a cd, then re-rip them back to your computer to see if that strips out the problems. Best of Luck.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I am not able to see the songs when I upload my MP3 with the computer, and it's occupying nearly 560MB space

Please use the software required to upload the files as the sansa will not recognise the normal mode music files unless they are compresssed to the requirement of the ipod.
Go to the link below to download and convert the music files and send them to your sansa.

Video Problem

Use the Sansa Media Converter to convert the video to a format the Sansa can handle. If you've lost the SMC, you can download the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0

Usb not recognise

If this happens when you try to upload it go into the MP3 players settings menu and change the USB mode in the menu to the one it isn't currently on. This should make it work and if not then try to check out the Sansa forums for someone else who might have had this problem with their MP3 player. I had that problem with my Sansa and when I did that it started to work again. Certain uploads on those require a certain USB setting for it to be on.

Infinite folders and inability to play music

You need to reinstall the firmware, which can be found on Sansa's site. If this is not an option, which it likely is NOT, you need to send the device out via the MFG warranty, or just send it to the MFG. If you look into the files on this device, it has a VERY VERY bad history with performance on this site. I hope this helps! problem solved!

Sync notice...?

If your using XP, go to the Windows Media Player and load the CD. You will see a Sync Icon. When you click on it will run and then give you a sync complete. Plug in your Sansa to the usb port and load from the Windows Media Player. Myles5@optonline.net
