Playlist menu not working

I have had this for almost a year now and all of the sudden now when I open the play list menu the top option is 'New playlist on the go' like it should be, but under it are 7 options of 'Delete a playlist' and if i scroll past them everything in the menu changes to what looks like Arabic, but i'm not sure. And if I try to scroll up instead of down it just has a bunch of blank options.

SOURCE: on the go playlist

on the MP3 player, go to the song(s) that you'd like to have on the "on the go" playlist, and if you search the sides on the device, you'll see a button that says "Playlist." Push that, and it'll automatically be added.

SOURCE: "Playlist On The Go" on a Philips 4 GB SA6045 mp3 player.

I just figured out how you clear the songs from the "playlist to go". go to playlist to go, then when it shows the songs you have added press the up button and you will see the words "clear playlist to go", press the forward button and it will ask you to clear it or cancel, select clear and it will tell you it's cleared.

SOURCE: no playlist found

One of the pesky features of windows Media Player is that if you delete the song/playlist from the computer's harddrive, and then resync your device to that same computer, then oftentimes the song/playlist disappears. Reacquire the song/playlist, and then try resyncing to the goGear again.

How to make a Playlist --- Listen to the song you want to add to a Playlist. While the song is playing, press & HOLD the [MENU] button for a couple of seconds. Another screen will appear with the following options. 1. Music Playback -- Normal / Random 2. Select EQ 3. Lyric Display -- Enable / Off 4. Add to MyList 5. Delete the File Move to #4 and press the [SELECT] button. Playlists will appear. Choose which one you want to add songs to and press the [SELECT] button. A check-mark will appear, meaning song has been added to PlayList. Press [MENU] button to get out. To DELETE songs from PlayList --- Go to options list when you first enter Music file and scroll down to 'My Music List'. Press [SELECT] button, Highlight the PlayList you want to delete songs from and press [SELECT] button. Need Creative Zen user manual. No longer on the website. I really just need to know how to create playlists if you can help me with that.

  • Creating playlists for Creative Zen MP3 player
  1. Step 1 Turn your Creative Zen MP3 Player on and add music to its hard drive if you haven't already. Without music on your player, you won’t be able to select tracks for a playlist.
  2. Step 2 Select "Music Library" from the Main Menu. The Main Menu should appear as the first menu when you turn your device on.
  3. Step 3 Select "Now Playing" from the options available, then press the Options button.
  4. Step 4 Select "Save as Playlist" from the list of options. This will save the tracks you have listed currently as a playlist that can be reloaded later.
  5. Step 5 To play a playlist back, go to the Main Menu, select the playlist and click

Can't create playlists on my zen x fi

I tried some suggestions posted here, and after some testing, I can now give you step-by-step instructions to create a playlist on your Creative Zen.

First, you need to think of the NOW PLAYING list as the "selected songs to be added to a playlist".

So, to start clean, let's empty out the NOW PLAYING list as follows:
1) from the MUSIC menu, select NOW PLAYING
2) when a song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
3) select REMOVE ...
4) select REMOVE ALL
Now, the NOW PLAYING list is empty.

Now, you need to select (mark) the songs you want to add to your new playlist:
1) go to an individual song
2) click the context menu, and select ADD TO SELECTED
3) go to another desired song, and do step 2) again
4) repeat until done

Now, to create a NEW playlist, go to the MUSIC menu, then:
1) select NOW PLAYING
2) it will show you the first song that you selected
3) press the Right button, to scroll through all of the other songs you selected
4) when any song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
5) select SAVE AS PLAYLIST (this refers to ALL songs in your NOW PLAYING list)
6) type the name for your new playlist, and click checkmark
ALL of the songs in the NOW PLAYING list are now saved as your New playlist.

From the MUSIC menu, select PLAYLISTS. You will see the name of the playlist that you just created. When you select that playlist, you will see the list of songs you had selected.

Please note that these songs are still in your NOW PLAYING list also. To create a another New playlist, you will first need to empty out the NOW PLAYING list as you did above.

I hope that helps.

Enjoy!

Philips GoGear SA3245 - Playlists Not Showing Up on Player

Have solved this problem on GoGear syncing with WMP 11 by going to options on the device itself, then go to the "settings" option, scroll down to "PC Connection Preferences", from here you will select the check box saying "MTP" then back out of options and connect your device and go back to your WMP 11 and drag your playlists to the syncing area and resync your device. You should then be able to see your playlists under the playlist option in music along with the "playlist on the go" playlist.

Hope this will help!
