Resizing a video and making the controls work

i have created a video using cam studio and when i added the video to macromedia director mx 2004 by importing it as a quicktime. the siz of the video was larger than teh stage and when i resize it , the pixels of the video becomes unclear.

and i have created three buttons in that stage of play, pause and stop and i wanted to know how to make them work.
