CMT-BX1 won't play CD's - "No Disc" (by 3 users)

posted by richardpfx on Sep 16, 2007

Brand new CMT-BX1 played CDs yesterday but today it makes two sets of clicking noises then says "No Disc" after inserting a CD. I've tried 10 different CDs - all the same. Should I return it?

Same problem...many cd's ...no disc error. Worked when right out of the box then not again.

If they're clean (i.e. not scratched up or dirty) store-bought CDs (burnt CDs can be iffy in some players), then yes you should return it.
