Press the load/ejectbutton. The printer ejects the jammed paper and then resumes printing. If the error is not cleared, open the printer cover and remove thejammed paper. Then reload paper in the sheet feeder and press the load/eject button. The printer resumes printing.
You can load up to 30 sheets of plain paper in the Artisan 800 ADF. If the ADF doesn't feed the paper, check the following.
1. Make sure that you are loading plain paper only without a holes. 3-hole punched paper is not supported by this printer.
2. Load paper not exceed 30 sheets.
3. Open the ADF and check for any jammed paper or foreign object that is blocking the paper feeding path.
4. Check if the BIG GREEN ADF indicator is lit when you load paper in the ADF.
If the issue persists, your printer will require service. You can contact the Epson for warranty if your printer still under warranty. If your warranty expires, look for an a service center that can repair your printer.
Load Legal paper in Cassette 1. If you want to print using only one piece of paper currently loaded in the Manual Feed Slot, click [Resolve Error]. If you want to feed paper from the cassettes, remove the loaded paper from the Manual Feed Slot.
load mp feeder means To load the Manual Paper Feeder
You might have selected the printer settings for manual feeding. Hence you need to feed that papers in manual feeding tray.
You can change the settings to automatic paper feeding to get rid of this error.
If not paper jam may has some problem with feed rollers on printer.First make sure that option to feed from cassette is turned on.Check this on maintenance mode.Аs the printer is in warranty better don't touch anything else and call Canon.
Please follow these steps to load :-
1.Turn on your printer. Make sure it is in ready mode (green status light on) and it is not printing or running any other operations.
2.Determine whether your printer uses a top-feed or bottom-feed. Blank paper stands upright in a top-feeding printer and lays in a tray on a bottom-feeding printer. 3.Load your envelope in portrait mode for envelopes that are 8.5 inches wide (standard paper size). Fold the flap down and place the envelope with the side to be printed on facing you. Load the envelope so that the side with the flap enters the printer first. 4.Load your envelope in landscape mode for longer envelopes that cannot fit in lengthwise. Close the flap. Load the envelope so that the left side enters the printer first (the flap will be on your left). 5.Set the paper guides. This guide is the sliding piece on your feed tray (it will usually be on the left). Slide it over so that the paper is held straight when it enters the printer. 6.Set up your printing preferences. Go to "File > Page Setup" or access your printer’s properties page. Under orientation, select portrait or landscape mode depending on how you loaded your envelopes. If your printer has this option, select “Left” for bottom-feeding printers and "Right” for top-feeding printers 7.Take a look at the "Print Preview" (usually found under "File" menu) and make sure everything looks good. Then print.
IF your facing problem with paper loading then try these steps and then try to load the paper , then no of pages these printer handle is 20 sheets in the paper tray...
1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover. 2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.) 3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.) 4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring. 5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.
If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6. If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service. 6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot. 7. Turn the printer off. 8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers. 9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.
remove the paper from the machine and look where it feeds in. There should be some rubber rollers, try cleaning them with a rag and some rubbing alcohol. If this doesn't work let me know. Also fan the paper before loading it.
There could be a small piece of paper or other matter blocking the feed.
Try feeding a piece of thin card- simple load and eject don't try to print anything.
Put a vacuum nozzle in the slot to suck any debris out.
