As I look at the pictoral, it seems there are twelve screws that hold the inner door to the outer door. Youmust remove these and then separate the door parts. Then you will see the screws that hold the dispenser in place from inside the door.

I just replaced the dispenser in my dishwasher yesterday and figured (since I've gotten a lot of help from others like this) I would document the steps. You can refer to this pdf file for my steps...
http://www.umonfw.com/misc/my_dishwasher_repair.pdf .
Hope this helps.

Dishwasher suds up and leaks during wash

Suds in a dishwasher usually come from using too much soap or the wrong kind. Soap can build up over times causing problems. First start a cycle.Do not add detergent or any dishes. When it starts washing, pour a cup of vegetable oil directly into the tub. This will cut the existing soap suds. You may need to try this a couple time before the dishwasher will drain. After all suds have been removed, load you dishwasher and start a cycle filling the detergent cup up half way. If it goes through the cycle with no problems, you should be all set. Still have the problem? A rinse aid dispenser that dispenses too much rinse aid will also cause the dishwasher to suds up. You can remove the dispenser from the door, flush it out and reinstall. Make sure you turn the circuit breaker off before taking the door apart. After rinsing it out, do not add rinse aid. Try the dishwasher and see if the problem goes away. I've seen people accidentally put liquid dish detergent in dispensers too. A dishwasher that has suds is apt to leak. Fix your suds issue and you most likely will fix you leak

Soap dispensor on kitchen aid dishwasher is leaking

First try rinsing out the dispenser cup and switching to a gel detergent.
Second, the door is spring loaded, and the spring may need to be replaced.Do this byturning off the electricity, then removing the front panel of the dishwasher-loosen screws holding the cup to the door and replace the springs. If the cup does not have springs, then it probably works on a was motor or bi metal switch that can be changed.
I can also be a defective timer switch

Soap does not disolve and residue left on all

The problem is hard water. Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com. They have a new product out that solves this problem once and for all. It filters the water entering your dishwasher and removes the hard minerals that cause these spots. Very affordable and guaranteed to leave your dishes looking amazing every time.

Sope dispenser will not open when running

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Many dishwashers (but not all) use a BI-metal strip that heats up once power is applied to it. The BI-metal strip bends and allows the soap door spring to open up the dispenser. This bi-metal strip is not given full 120 volts power, the timer "shunts" the power through either the heating element ( most common ) or the motor and this gives the bi-metal strip lower than full power to work and open.

Most often the bi-metal strip has lost its ability to bend properly and needs to be replaced. Older Kitchen-aid dishwashers used a mechanical arm driven by the timer to open the dispenser = no electrical bi-metals. Newer (plastic liner) Kitchen-aid dishwashers use a wax motor to open the soap dispenser. The plunger inside the wax motor slowly moves and pushes the plunger and door open. And, if this wax motor doesn’t receive 120 volts, then it’ll not work.

Please do rate this solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

Soap dispenser cover won't close

It sounds like it may be stuck between cycle steps.(this sometimes happens if the washer is open during a cycle)Try and run it through one full wash cycle as it is.Then check to see if the soap door will close. If not,the lack may be broken

Soap dispenser

It sounds like the soap dispenser flap is stuck or the latch is broken. Try to see if it can be manually opened to loosen it. How long do you wait before starting the dishwasher after the soap is placed in the dispenser? Check and see if the cover opens even a little during the wash cycle?

There could be a problem with the solenoid that opens the soap dispenser. I don't know of the part number for this. You'd have to call Bosch or check their website.
