Question about Intel Mackie UAD1 Powered PCI Plugin for VST Software Sound Card
I wiped my computer and my sound card isn't working, so I look at it and it says Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Digital, but when I go to install the driver, I get an error that says my computer can't detect a sound blaster card.
I can't find drivers for my computer's sound card

I am not able to record sounds with mic.
But I am able to hear the voice with speakers.
Is this the problem with sound card or anything else ?

Well, Philips doesn't have driver support for their sound cards, That being said, you are stuck with one driver you can only use, the CD that came with the sound card.
I have a Philips Sonic Edge 5.1 sound card myself.

Common problem, creative have stopped supporting the card and it isn't compatible with service pack 2. There are fixes which people have made though. Try searching for ctcomp.exe it can be a bit of a headache to fix though :(

You may need to go into the bios F2 or Del on boot up and in advanced cmos settings look for onboard sound and select dissable if you are refering to a seperate pci sound card.
