Re: cant get the network signal

If it cant auto find the network, go to the settings, do it manually and then look for network menu, all the found networks will appear in the list, choose yours and press ok, if still no connection then there is a sim card fault or the phones reciever is faulty.

Why is there a plus sign before certain phone numbers?

The + sign indicates the international codes. Thus instead of 0091... being international code for India and 001... for the US and Canada, +91 and +1 are on the mobile. If my number is 9878472630 then the std code is 09878472630 and ISD is 00919878472630 on landline phones and +919878472630 on mobiles. Please feel free to ask more if not understood.

My samsung Duos gt-b5722 not showing any network. when i insert sim it shows full signal but when i dial a number it shows emergency call only. i cant send any message. when i call on my no. it says its...

Try other sim cards in the phone to be sure the problem is not from the sim. When you are sure the problem is not from the sim, try to reset the phones's factory settings. If it still does not work, then flash the phone.
If the fault was detected to be a sim fault, then get another line of the same network, and call your mobile service operators.
Hope this was helpful?

I cant receive any calls on my blackberry curve, the callers are asked to check the number n then dial again, pls HELP!! There is a sign on my screen showing the receiver with an arrow pointing outwards

the receiver with an arrow means that you do not have any signal, which either mean that you are in an area with no/weak signal (go to somewhere else) or your phone have been disconnected (talk to your phone company)

I cant recieve calls on my nokia n95

Hi, since it is a nokia phone, and on the phone it has service signal bar showing on the screen of the phone, Just apply this codes #33#0000#( to cancel any beared calls(both in and out going calls and #002# ( to cancel any call divert on the phone.

NOTE: it will only work if the service signal bar on the phone the makes you know that there is service on your is full. If not, that means the phone network will be the problem which you will need to consult repairer.

Take care.

I need assistance my nokia 6270 is showing no network coverage and i cant dial or receive call,no network signal on the phone..

Hi There,

There are two possible reasons why this is not working.

1). The SIM card that you are using is no longer valid in the system of your mobile provider.

2). Your fone is faulty and does not make contact or recognise your SIM card whether or not it is inserted into the fone.

Dial *#7370# and set the default settings. This may cancel your previous action. And dont go on experimenting with unauthorised codes. they could be very dangerous to the phone, as you have seen already.

No network service

You may want to contact your carrier and have them walk you through checking the network settings on the phone. Some carriers require some manual input in there, and it's possible these configurations got deleted or changed unintentionally.
