My sent email was not receive by the recipients. what is the problem? please help me

there could be a bunch of reasons why the message was not received.

- the email server that received the message has not yet forwarded the email to the recipient.
- if the there is an error in sending email from your email to email server of the recipient you should be able to receive a confirmation that there was an error.
- the recipient might not properly configure the their email client
- you've sent the email to a different address
- your email server has not yet forwarded the email to the email server of the recipient

Hi

It seems your e-mail setup in Facebook is not set up properly.

This is a security procedure to confirm that the e-mail account holder and the Facebook account holder are one and the same.

Open the spam/junk folder in your e-mail account to check if the e-mails have been re-routed there accidentally by the spam/junk folder. Mark any e-mails from Facebook as 'not spam/junk'. Then go back to your e-mail inbox and open any Facebook e-mail that apears there and follow the instructions in it to confirm your e-mail address (probably by clicking on a link or by copying and pasting a code into your Facebook Setup page).

After this you should be able to use your Facebook account without further messages.

I hope this helps

My name is Nick Felix email is nicknickfelix@aol.com a carlyn courtny is advertising over and over????I do not know this person and need him deleted from my face book PLEASE

This type of mail which is advertising and bothering you again and again is called "SPAM" or sometimes they are called "JUNK MAIL". In yahoo mail its refered to as spam and if you have an hotmail account they are called Junk mail. Since you are using AOL I am sure that you will be having something same written on a tab like Spam mail, junk mail or garbage mail etc. Just select the mail message that is bothering you and click on the tab that says Spam or Junk mail and this person or any automated email will not be able to bother you again. All the future mails and the mail you selected to spam will go to Junk or spam folder.

Good Luck!

I am not receiving my emails from my contacts

With this kind of issue, you may need to investigate what''s causing it. Here the things that you can check:

* Did you setup an filter or rule on your account?
* Check Junk Mail, probably their mails are being treated as spam by the spam filter that yahoo is utilizing.
* Ask your friend if they are receiving any bounce back message or non delivery report every time they send a message.

You can also do your own test, if you have an alternate email address you send a test message to that email address that is having issues right now and see that will happen.

Not receiving mail in my Yahoo account.

Why would you suspect spam as the cause? Unless you have recently changed your preferences regarding the filters used to screen your incoming e-mail, spam shouldn't be an issue.

Is your wife using the same computer to access her account? If not you may have a conflict with your anti-virus, anti-spyware or firewall software.

It could also be caused from any recent updates to your current browser

If your wife is using the same computer to access her account you should check all your preferences regardless. Inspect all your wife's preferences that she has on her account. Record them and change all yours to match.

In the past Yahoo e-mail has had a lot of similar problems in regards to users not receiving their e-mails. This problem though could happen to any e-mail service, web based or other wise. For that fact I believe it is prudent to have a second e-mail account from a separate e-mail service provider.
It's also a great way to keep spam and other junk separate from your important e-mails. Basicly you use one account for all your banking, credit card purchases work and on-line bill payments. The second you use for web based subscriptions, joining forums and friends. When a problem like this happens you have access to a second account.

If changing your setting doesn't work first request help from Yahoo e-mail support and then respond back here with info such as your current web browser and what version it is ( click help it the menu, click about Internet Explorer or Firefox) and it will be listed on the small window that opens. Also include what software are you using if any in conjunction with your browser. Such as Outlook Express.
I hope something here helps.

My e mail account will not receive incoming e mails it states the account is closed how do i fix this as i did not cancel the account many thanks

The only reason you would not receive them is because they are being spammed...Check you spam folder and if you find them in there open them up and click on NOT SPAM...

If you dont see them in spam when you open up your spam folder it means you are automatically deleting them...Click on Options...Mail Options...Spam
Go down to where you can save them..and make sure save them for at least one week so you can view them before deletion.

While in SPAM...check to see if they are in the blocked addresses...If you find them in there...they are in alphabetical order...hilite them and remove the block...

One of the above should take care of your problem..

When all else fails do the below...Use the website first ..they have a live chat option...good luck

Receiving thousands of emails as ''undeliverable'' ''postmaster''

Unfortunately, Yahoo does not have the option to only receive emails from people in your contacts or address book. The more websites you click on, the more "cookies" will be placed in your browser by ad trackers, and the more "spam" or junk mail you will receive. Try going into your internet options and disabling third party cookies, or you could open a hotmail (MSN) account where you have the option of only receiving emails from those people in your address book.

Still getting lots of spam

Here's a suggestion, you really can't do a whole about now, however, you can set up an alternate yahoo account and only use for sending and receiving mail to known and trusted people. I have been a yahoo client for the past 14 years and I have several alt. accounts each for a specific purpose, I don't give these addy's out to anyone or anysite unless I know and trust them. Absolutely no spam in these accounts for years. If you need further help, call this number:
