Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How do you connect the altec lansing ada 890 speakers to a flat panel HD TV

You can use the audio output RCA outputs to connect to the speakers. You need to use a multi- connector to match the input of the Altec. You can get the mating connectors to the headphone to RCA which can be connected to the Audio outputs. Also you can use a network to match the input impedance, use a simple reisitive network.

Is is possible to install altec lansing speakers

It is possible to hook up these speakers to a laptop according to this brochure:

http://www.alteclansing.com/images/spec/vs4121%20sell%20sheet.pdf

Now this manual shows those speakers being hooked up to a computer but laptops have the same outputs as well so here it is:

http://www.alteclansing.co.uk/images/quick/vs4121qcc.pdf

you'll need adobe reader to read the manuals.

How to hook my altec lansing speakers to my TV? and my laptop @ the same time

You can do this through a receiver (like a stereo receiver). Hook the tv up to line 1 and the computer up to line 2, then hook the stereo receiver output to the input of your subwoofer. Then shift the receiver from line 1 to line 2 (as easy as pressing a button on the front of the receiver) to hear either one through your speakers.

lost instructions on how to hook up. Large speaker makes static. Right speakers work great.
