Question about HP Computers & Internet
I have a HP Pavillion w/ a HP w1907 monitor. I have a standard set of Altec Lansing speakers. I'm new at at this stuff so you'll need to explain as if i'm 5. Ill appreciate all the help I can get.
On the back of your computer tower (that thing with the power button on the front) you should see three small headphone jack looking thingies, with colored bands around them. Your speaker cord plugs into the green one, if you have a microphone, it goes in the pink one.
Your speaker set should have a wall wart type power supply, plug that into any convenient outlet, and plug the other end into the proper jack on your speakers.
The volume knob on your speakers is also an on-off switch, turn it on.
