Question about RCA Lyra TH1012 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Mp3 says "No Files"

Many songs have been downloaded successfully, however, I tried to download another and suddenly MP3 said "No Files". I have attempted to download (start over) but am unable to. I am not computer savvy and have no idea where to start. I could really use some help. I do not have a manual for this device, only a quick start guide. My operating system is Windows XP. the MP3 is Model # TH1012. I've also tried to uninstall and reinstall the device, also unsuccessful. If you can help and are patient with a minimal computer/electronics user, I look forward to hearing from you!

Re: Mp3 says "No Files"

Sounds like you may have tried to put "too many" songs on the device pushing it over its limit. If it connects to the computer and shown up under My Computer, you can right click on it and select "format" this will remove all of the music on it. Thereafter, you can drag files directly onto it under My Computer. There is no real need for any software. Best of Luck.

I've downloaded between 30 and 40 songs on my Eclipse, but only one songs plays. I've tried deleting the music from my player. No success. PLEASE HELP.

Hi rodglo2..
Try this method to delete what you do not want..

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Please take time to rate me

Can figure out how to put music on the model

There are a couple of wats to put music on a MP3 player.
You can download MP3 music files from the Internet, some Internet sites have free downloads and others you have to pay to download songs and albums.
You can convert your CDs into MP3 files can copy them to your MP3 player. There are freeware programs on the Internet that convert CD songs to MP3 format, the CD song is rip/converted to MP3 file.
Microsoft Media Player can also rip CD songs into MP3 files as well as playing MP3 files/songs.

Nextarm933a mp3 player cant get to play songs or download

When you download songs, save it first on your My Music folder for you to easily track the song list. Once you have successfully downloaded the songs, insert your MP3 Player. Format your MP3 Player first by right clicking the drive and click format. Once it is formatted, Copy the songs from your My Music folder then Paste it on your MP3 Player drive.
*Note: Try to play your saved song in your Windows Media Player if the song is working fine before you copy it on your MP3 Player.
Drop a comment if you still have questions. I would be happy assisting you.

Your vote is highly appreciated.

Ilo mp3 player

The may be a problem with your boot files stored on your MP3 player, try formatting which may fix this problem.

First you go to "Start" - "My Computer" - Now look for something called "Removable Disk" - That is your MP3 Player - Now right-click on it then click "Format" - Now allow format to complete and this should have fixed the problem.

Now you've formatted put some songs on, then unplug then try.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful in someway.

Philips hdd1630 play problem

That sound like these files are corrupt. What are they? MP3s? I know it sounds silly, but have you checked that the size of the *.mp3 files is not 0? Also -- can you play them from your PC?
