Touch pad very pale

My Minolta photocopier Di250 has a very pale touch pad screen. I believe it could be the battery. Can you tell me how to get to it please. Many thanks

    Thanks for your quick response

The Touch Pad is brightly lit, just the print is hardly readable, if I look at it from a low side on position, I can see the text. I cannot see an adjustment on the main screen. There are four 'tabs', Auxilliary; Density; Orig.Copy & Basics, nothing on these screens. Also, if the Touch Pad is very bright - just without text, could this still be a blown back light lamp?

    Thanks

When you say it is pale.... Do you mean you can not read it? There is a display adjustment on the control pannel. If you have adjusted it to the max, you most likely have a blown back light Lamp.

The control panel with go thru some screens when you see the screen with copiers on it on the left side of the screen in the middle you will see a small "." when dot appears touch 3 button. Then the machine will continue to the code screen. Press the utility button should see a new button "Maintenance Mode" touch it then touch trouble reset.
