Printer keeps saying transfer belt error help

TRANSFER BELT CHIP COUNT IS END REPLACE TRANSFER BELT

this is the error code for the image transfer belt pressure retraction failure to reset error code with the machine turned on open and close the front door if error comes back will have to replace either the transfer belt or the belt pressure motor

Tray Missing: Insert Tray Tray 1 and/or Tray 2 is missing. Insert the specified tray(s) into the printer. TR Belt Life: Replace Transfer Belt The transfer belt is exhausted. Install a new transfer belt. TR Kit Life: Replace PQ Kit The transfer roller and transfer belt cleaning roller are exhausted. Install a new transfer roller and a new transfer belt cleaning roller. TX Comm Error An outgoing fax transmission error has occurred. Resend the fax. Warming up Wait for the message to clear....

Since you didn't say which printer, I'll give the general answer.
Reseat the transfer belt. If the error persists...replace it.

Error 59.90 refers to the problem with the transfer belt motor. Try to open the front cover and reseat the ETB, sometimes it helps. If the error appears again, probably you'll have to change the ETB.

Take out the Imaging unit ,transfer belt and fix it properly.
Also take care that you will keep the printer on even surface.

IF nothing is solving the problem then you need to replace the transfer belt as a final solution.

"install transfer belt" message" appeared right after black toner was relpaced with a non samsung toner(new chip too)--installation of new transfer belt did not solve problem--- i went back and reinstalled the original samsung chip into the toner cartridge---the "install transfer belt" message is gone and the printer works but has a "low toner" message----i guess i learned my lesson the hard way---anyone in the market for a new transfer belt???........wj

I don't know which model you're having problems with but if it's an IR-C2058 the error has to do with the Transfer Belt. The 0002 says the transfer belt sensor ( S51 ) continues to detect the home postion for transfer belt. I don't know what kind of work you've done to the copier, if any, but the error will have to be cleared up first. Let me know what model and I can help alot more. Good luck.

Transfer belt error, this is cause by the OPC drum which connects the belt. Make sure the drum sit well with the belt else replaced the drum.
