It sounds like you need to use or at least adjust the crossover. It should be on the amp and are sometimes adjustable. Make sure it is set to "Low Pass" and the sub should be playing nothing above 120Hz or so. Most people don't like the way that sounds and cross it over lower around 60hz or 80Hz. Try that and let me know if you still have a problem.

Happiness by sound de-zign?

lyrics are:

In the beginning he created the groove
And with the groove he made us move
And he made you reach out
And raise your hands in the air
To rejoin us and sing a song of love
Sing a song of happiness
Happiness

Everybody's moving to the beat
Music makes me wild and move my feet
I see, I feel the need to get away
From the pain and pressure of the day

the dj comes to my rescue
and through the beat you gotta move, too
The people's screamin'
gotta love , I love
Singin' mister dj
gimme more

Sing a song of happiness
Happiness (x2)

Happiness (x2)

To the back, to the top
Let me come again

Happiness
Happiness
Happines

The factry sub in my truck is bumping when the radio is on and volume is all the way down

If the "bumping" is mechanical the factory installation may have loosened.

If the "bumping" is sound related, you may find that the subwoofer cone is moving and vibrating even with volume turned down.

Check the sub installation. I think you'll find what's wrong.

Won't drop with beat

Sounds like the speaker is out of phase. Check your speaker connections. + to + and - to -. Or red to red, and black to black.

Subwoofer wont go off.....vibrates like mad

Sounds like a short circuit, check all connections and check that it will work as set up. Some will only work as a mono(i.e. you use 1 caannel not a combination of both) could also be a loose connection. Also if the head unit is off, the amp for the sub should be off. Is the amp wired to permanant live? If so this will cause this. Wire to electric aerial switch on head unit.( there will be a live wire and a switch wire on amp).

Subwoofer FPS 1000 4.1 sound bad

hello,

I had a problem closely with my FPS 1000 4.1 sound works four point surrond : my subwoofer sounds a metallic noise when the bass are loud.
Maybe it is the same problem ? :

It were vibrations that go through the subwoofer and cause the noise.

Check the four screw well (the four hole on the back of the subwoofer). Put your finger on them to clog them and hear if your problem is solved.
If yes, put scotch on them.

Secondly (i think you have disassemble your subwoofer), you can put silicon joincture on the box near the circuit, under the translucides cables. (the box where there are the plugs). >> if there are any hole between his box and the speaker, there will be some metallic noise (vibrations trough the box and the back plugs).

bye

No sound from my logitech z4 subwoofer

Is there sound coming from the 2 speakers?

Subwoofers are designed to only play bass, you shouldnt hear much acoustic sound coming from it at all.

The best way to test that is to play a song with a good amount of low bass, see if you hear it coming from the woofer, or can you feel the woofer vibrate?

If there is a hole in the side of the woofer box, when you are playing the song is there any air coming out of that hole to the bass line beat?

I dont know how you have your wiring set up, but if it still isnt working please check to make sure that you have the wiring plugged in properly.

If there is anything else I can do to help please let me know. I hope this fixes your problem.

Speakers

in normal setup no wall-mount speaker- you must put subwoofer in the floor and vibration is normal for low frequencey of subwoofer.

Cerwin Vega V-10S Subwoofer doesn´t sounds good

dear "rai17"

This, to me, is most likely the voice coil inside the driver rubbung against the yolk plate, or possibly the spyder slapping the metal plate underneath it, or the amp-(if it has one?) getting tired. this can occur from poor build quality, or playing the subwoofer too loud. depending on how much it cost you, you may want to get it repaired(voice coil re-alignment or something or new amp). But the way it seems, it is probably the driver itself. subwoofers get looser as they break in. This one may have been over-broken....sorry

I hope this helped clarify what is happening!
