Question about Intel D845GVSR Motherboard
Don't bother, the motherboard is so old that its more or less pointless. The amount of time and money you'll spend repairing it in most cases is less than just purchasing a new motherboard, processor, and ram.
Unfortunately there is no repair manual for it, at least not publicly available. Most motherboards now are so easily replaced that people don't bother.

Au contraire, as all Intel motherboards have manuals, though repair is not recommended, repair is not a necessity, while troubleshooting may be. This particular series of Intel Boards is very well documented and socket 478 allows for some pretty fast Dual Core processors operating at up to and including 3.2 GHz, with the most notable problem being heat dissipation, for which certain state of the art heat processing systems work very well.
That is why I asked which OS and version.
