Hello. It sounds like your thermostat is bad, without anymore information of the problem, that is what I am going to say. Here is a link to the manufacture with owners manuals, you can get parts lists also.

I have a cecilware FMS-40 deep fryer and the pilot light does not stay on. I just changed the high limit switch and now it will not stay on. Should I change the thermocoupling next? The wires that run down...


The next thing to replace would be the thermostat... That's all that's left...I believe they have a special screwdriver at Lowe's that will make this job alot easier... Or another hardware type store...
Good luck...however if that doesn't work, call Cecilware directly and ask for the warranty/parts dept. They should be happy to help you trouble shoot their product... and direct you to a dealer that sells their parts too.

For propane gas fryer the incoming gas pressure must be 11 to 14" w.c. and the manifold gas pressure must be 10"w.c.

The thermostat for a GF28 is a Cecilware L099A or F. It is not repairable, but any reputable commercial parts place should have it available for around $90 US.
