Follow the instruction below to solve your problem: Restart your computer and enter Safe Mode (press F8 right as the computer starts booting up. Choose Safe Mode in the menu, press Enter twice).
While in Safe Mode, open Control Panel and go to Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features on Vista/7) and uninstall the display driver software/drivers.
Restart your computer and boot normally. Now you should be able to see everything. Things might look bigger and uglier, that because there's no display driver installed. All you have to do now is reinstall the display driver. Use it's original disc or go to the manufacturer website and download the latest driver.
If the company said you need a driver, how come the monitor don't come with a CD to install the Driver? How come they did not point out how you can get the Driver?
Look in Device Manager under "Monitors". Does it say "Plug and Play"? If so, you don't need any monitor driver. Try adjusting the resolution on the desktop also, right click in desktop, properties, settings, adjust the slider...
if the screen is big, try to change the screen resolution, or install the video driver from the manufacturer drivers disk that you would have,,,
refer to help and support in your computer for guidance on how to reduce the screen resolution,,,
click on start >>>> help and support, then on the search box type how to change the screen resolution
2. how to install the video driver
you will have step by step instructions, and you could get it resolved,
There is no sound driver, they are speakers, they work off of the audio output jack on the back of your PC, on the motherboard. If you have the sound drivers installed for the motherboard, and no sound, then you have plugged the monitor audio cable into the wrong jack on the PC, or you have the settings wrong just as MIKE said above.
Try loading drivers for the LCD monitor.Right click empty part of desktop>>Properties>> settings It should show monitor name instead of plug and play monitor on ---- Video board.Go to Advanced>monitor>driver on this screen.
What type of computer? which model? and which screen? is it a laptop or a tablet.
Check your screen settings if its a seperate screen there may be a button on the bezel for changing the layout.
Also the orientation can be changed in most video drivers. set the screen on its side so you can see and right click on your desktop and manuver to "properties" goto the last tab then click advanced. search around in there for orientation, sorry but exact step by step varies from there depending on which driver you are using.
if you try something in that menu that doesnt work, just cancel out or hit escape.
