Averatec 22" all in one pc

When I turn the streaming video to full screen, the video stutters at noticeably rates. Is the monitor too big for it to stream properly? It works find at normal screen. Please help me fix this problem. Do I have to change resolution or anything? The graphic card I'm using is Geforce 8400M GS with 2gb ram. Thanks

Thank for the response. I did some more searches, and found this sitehttp://forum.notebookreview.com/showthre... which pretty much all you have to do is to disable the video accelerator.

Your internet connection might be too slow or not enough bandwidth available. Are you doing this streaming from within a browser? If you are, try a different browser like Firefox or Google Chrome

How do I convert a Westinghouse 22" LCM-22w3 DVI/VGA LCD Monitor into an HDTV?

Dear Amy,

Normally, monitors do not have tuning electronics for capturing TV signals.
Therefore, consider the monitor as a "dumb" unit that only displays information coming from your computer. Also, this unit does not have a HDMI input, but only VGA.
So, you are fated to have this monitor connected to your computer, always.
Now, you may find good software that will "tune" the TV signals from streaming at the Internet and show whatever is being broadcast. The same way you can access YouTube and watch videos these TV tuners will get the streaming signals the TV stations send via Internet (not all do that) and watch the channel in your PC/monitor
Since I do not have additional information about the computer you use I cannot give you other ideas
I hope I have helped you.

How do I fit the desktop to the full screen of the monitor?

before you change your screen resolution, you should know first the dimension of your monitor..
this is the common screen resolution for 22 inch LCD monitor: 1600 x 1024 1920 x 1080 up to 3840 x 2400
Note: You can only use this resolution if your video card supports this given screen resolutions. You can set your resolution through configuring the display setup.

Hi, it does not matter which monitor the Notebook has, the ratings may change depending on the Hardware performance of the Notebook, Please make sure you have installed all the latest Drivers for Windows 7 OS. Usually the notebook manufacturer will release Drivers for Windows 7 OS in there Website. If you are using Windows XP Drivers for Windows 7 then the performance may vary.

Please check your Hardware Specification by downloading Speccy program from the below link:

http://www.piriform.com/speccy

Please follow the below steps to enable Hardware Acceleration.

1. Choose Start > Control Panel.
2. Double click Personalization and select Display Settings.
3. Click Advanced Settings.
4. Click Change Settings on the Troubleshooting tab.
5. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Full.
6. Click Apply and then click OK to accept the new setting and close the dialog box.
7. Click OK to close the Display Properties dialog box.
8. Restart Windows.

Averatec screen does not light up

First, plug a external monitor and toggle the screen with ALT+F5. This will determine if the reason of the problem is hardware or software (drivers, configuration, etc).
If the image in the external monitor is correct you probably have a hardware problem with the LCD screen, inverter or cabling.
You can get the replacement parts here and change it yourself:

I would fist try updating the memory to at a minimum 256MB. You might also try changing you display card an accelerated model. My guess would be you are currently sharing memory with an onboard display card. Not good for Video streaming!
