Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I would scan for virsus first. Then a malware scan second. In all likely hood you have picked up a bug somewere. If this does not work, you might try resetting your internet browser. In Internet Explorer (IE), click on tools, internet options, the advance tab, click on reset and then restore advance settings. You will have to close IE and reopen it for the changes to take affect.

I get ads on or beside my email and some time its hard to read it all

Download and install the latest version of firefox once installed click on the 'Tools' menu, select 'Add-ons' and type 'adblock plus' in the search window at the top right. Install the new add-on, restart firefox (close it and reopen it) and choose easylist USA (or whatever the default subscription is) and accept it. Once this is done you can choose to block images and ads on web pages (it will also automatically block known ads) by right-clicking on a picture or ad and selecting adblock plus: Block image

Hi- I can get onto the internet but now strangely I cannot get onto the Shutterfly website. I have IE 8 and Firefox 4. please help!.net

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Sometimes, temporary files in the cache will interfere with web browsing.

In IE 8:
  1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.jpg. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

  2. Click the Safety button, and then click Delete Browsing History.

  3. Select the check box next to each category of information you want to delete.

  4. Select the Preserve Favorites website data check box if you do not want to delete the cookies and files associated with websites in your Favorites list.

  5. Click Delete. (This could take awhile if you have a lot of files and history.) Close IE8 and reopen a new window.

  6. In the new window, type the web address to Shutterfly.

In Firefox 4,

How to clear the cache The Firefox cache temporarily stores images, scripts, and other parts of websites while you are browsing.
  1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options
  2. Select the Advanced panel.
  3. Click on the Network tab.
  4. In the Offline Storage section, click Clear Now.

I am constantly getting 'Internet Explorer has stopped working' message. There seems to be no solution .Please help

Close all Internet Explorer windows. Go to control panel - internet options (in network and internet) - advanced - RESET.
It will say: are you sure you want to reset IE? ---> RESET
Click close and ok. Close all the windows. Reopen IE.

If it cannot reset and says that some windows are opened then restart unit completely and try again.

If still doesnt work after reset then go to internet options - security - uncheck enable protected mode. Click ok, close and reopen IE

I use IE 8 on XP SP3 and there are a lot of errors (pops out and i get my open windows/pages closed on IE) Also another problem if i close one of my tabs or windows then it closes similar tabs or closes...

If you are using IE 7/8 you can try to run the program without loading any add-ons to see if one of them is causing the problems. To do this, click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

(You can also load IE without add-ons by clicking START --> RUN and then typing iexplore.exe -extoff)

If those don't work try to re-register IEPROXY.DLL by clicking START --> RUN and typing regsvr32 IEPROXY.DLL and then clicking OK.

When IE dissapears does IExlorer.exe show in the task manager's list of running processes?

Have any toolbars or new sofware been added recently? If so and you are using Win XP you may want to try a system restore to a previous point before the changes were made or uninstall the toolbars completely. Also disabled all Pop-Up blockers to see if that has any effect.clean up ur registry using reginout

The close ''X'' at the right top of the inbox page disappeared.

This windows icon only appears on the internet explorer window on the toolbar. SO I'm guessing you somehow accidentally got you IE window Floating and pushed up a bit to the point of NOT seeing the close box.

To resolve your problem findow the IE window tab on the start bar. right click it and select close. this will close the window and when you reopen itthe close box should be in a position that you can view.

If this fails then do the same thing but rather than select "Close" this time I want you to select "Maximize" this should stretch the window to cover the viewable screen bringing the close box into view.

If you still don't get your desired results please post back hear so I may help you further

Prior to Windows Vista updates I had my favorites listed when I clicked on Internet Explorer. As of 2 days ago rather than listing favorites my PC goes directly to Google which does not have my favorites....

Did you download the Google Chrome browser or install a toolbar by any chance?

You can also try this:
1. Open IE by clicking on its icon on Desktop.
2. Click on Tools > Internet Options
3. Under 'General' tab, click the 'use blank' button under the "home page" entry.
4. Click on "Programs" tab and click on 'make default' button under "Default Web Browser" entry.
5. Click 'Apply' and 'OK' buttons

Close IE and reopen to see if this solves the issue. Please post back if this is not what you meant in your original query..
