Question about Televison & Video
Our phillips 32" lcd model no#32pf7320a/37 goes to menu page on its own and now we can't get out of menu
What is actually the switch (is a touch switch) inside the tv. The button the user touch is a plastic same as the black or gray frame. a visible inspection can tell you if this plastic is doing the job because if you touch it actually clicks and you feel doing the function. if is different the way it works than the other buttons. That is the reason why the menu appears because the plastic is damage. the other possibility is the electronic switch itself is now close forever but inside. if those two problems are not the visible solution. a deepest trace has to be track to diagnose the final reason of the problem this is the micro controller
(by the way: isn't the menu button (remote control) dented or probably pushed in by accident)
