Question about Frigidaire FWTBB30DS Front Load Washer
I have the 1999 Frigidaire FWT4496FS1 washer and there have been problems during the rinsing cycle. Nothing happens during the washing cycle, but once it starts the high speed rinsing cycle, the chamber tub starts to girate with a disturbing cacophany, even when it is empty. Opening the back, I have confirmed that the motor and bell are fine. The pulleys are not loose. I tried to take the bell and the pulley out. But I still don't know what the problem is. What do you think the problem could be? What can I do? Is it worth fixing? If not, how much would it cost to ask a mechanic to check it out and fix it himself? Thanks.

Thank you for your post, friend!
Based off the information you have provided I see that your Frigidaire washer will fill with cool water but not during the rinse cycle. A few possibilities that you could be seeing an issue with a faulty pressure switch or water valve. I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional for proper diagnosis and repair to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt
