Question about Husqvarna "Chain Saw - 16" Bar, 3 Hp
Howdy, I have one of these saws. Are you following the correct starting procedure? Has it started before?
Anyway here goes, choke all the way out, pull till motor attempts to start. Once this happens, push choke in half way. Pull once and it should run at revs. Let it run for 5 seconds then blip the throttle and half choke will pop in automatically.
Hasn't missed a beat and starts vsame way everytime.
I ran through that because I purchased a second hand Shindaiwa and it didn't have a manual. Took me 10 minutes to start it the first time till I learned the sequence of correct starting.

Have you ensured that you are using fresh fuel and not fuel that you may have stored from last season.
Fuel does have a limited life so before you do anything else make sure it's fresh.
My best regards
