Any brand name floppy drive will work just fine. Does not have to be the exact same model or model number.

You can pick these up at either any computer distributor online (www.newegg.com , www.tigerdirect.com , other ones out there) or almost at any place that sells computer related devices (walmart, best buy, frys, local small computer shop). The plugs/pins are all the same in the back of the floppy, so it is completely interchangeable.

Try looking up the model # of the laptop floppy drive that you are looking for on: http://www.ebay.com

USB floppy drives work great too, and they do not have to exactly match the model # that your laptop computer needs. You just need to have an available USB port for the USB floppy drive to work.

Thank you very much.

Does this floppy drive have a bezzel on the front, if not you can buy any floppy as they are not specific in anyway.

if it doesnt have a front bezel and the front of your case just has a **** in it you might have luck on eBay.

Hello! I have a Floppy Drive FD-235HG-C332 manufacturer TEAC. I want to know what data capacity (Operations modes) has my device: 720Kb, or 1Mb, or 1,44Mb, or 1,6Mb, or 2Mb. There are jampers, placed...

Your TEAC FDD (floppy disk drive) is a Tri-mode device (720 KB, 1.2 MB, and 1.44MB)

The "235" part of the model number indicates the drive's form factor (size) is 3.5 inches.
The "HG" part of the model number indicates that the FDD is a Tri-mode device, with the 3 modes
given above.

The manufacturer notes that it has no jumpers, but every FDD I've ever seen has jumpers for
bus master/slave selection. Either master or slave will work.

Here's the manufacturer's web site URL for your TEAC floppy disk drive:

I am installing an EPSON SD_600 5.25 inch flopy drive into a gateway computer. Which if any jumpers do I need to change into order to have this drive share a data ribbon cable with the existing 3.5 inch...

Unless floppy drive cables have changed in the past few years, they're designed for 2 floppy drives, with the jumpers on both set the same way. There's a small twist in the cable that changes the drive addresses instead.

Or you could just replace the existing drive with the new one.
